On September 12, Arctic Roe of Scandinavia AB ("AROS") was invited to demonstrate its caviar at an event in Stockholm. The yearly competition "Chef-of-the-year" was hosted in Globen Sports Arena, Annexet. One of the sponsors of the event was Mengio company, which is AROS's distributor.
AROS was present in the event hall the whole day on Thursday when hundreds of food industry people attended the competition. A number of guests visited AROS's stand in a skybar in the hall. Lots of questions were given and answers followed. The caviar was served together with sparkling wine from Spendrup company and cheese from Arla.
The day after, on Friday September 13, AROS was invited to the city of Växjö. The Gastronomique Academy of the province of Småland and island of Öland ("Smålands och Ölands Gastronomiska Akademi") handed out awards. There were 5 categories and AROS competed in the category for local food producers. AROS was declared winner in its category, and the host giving out the various awards was Mr. Fredrik Andersson, famous chef and current Captain of the Swedish national team of Chefs. Some 150 guests were present at the event dinner, which took place in the beautiful hotel and restaurant PM & Vänner in Växjö. AROS is very proud and grateful for the encouraging award.
