Arctic Silk
Arctic Silk, like Arctic Tradition and Arctic Pearl is live-harvested roe from our Siberian Sturgeons (Acipenser Baerii).
Arctic Silk caviar is also stabilized using a unique method without heating. However, the exact stage of maturity of the roe grains at harvest, determines how the texture will turn out in the final product. The roe grains from Arctic Silk melt on the tongue in a silky, velvety manner. Hence the product name.
Here, as in the sister products, "Tradition" and "Pearl", there are mineral ocean flavours with a memory of fresh oysters, which is broken off with buttery creamy nuttiness, followed by a solid wave of umami, which persists in the aftertaste.
Live-harvested roe grains are larger in size than the corresponding grains from butchered fish. The best-before date is approximately 6 months from the date of production a storage temperature of no more than +4 degrees Celsius.
