Arctic Roe of Scandinavia's black caviar was tested at a food event in the city of Jönköping.
The city of Jönköping is city number 1 in terms of population in the province of Småland. It is located some 140 km to the North of Arctic Roe of Scandinavia's sturgeon farm ("AROS").
AROS was invited to the local delicacy shop and restaurant "Blåhed". This food house offers delicacies of various kinds and organizes events for its regular local customers. AROS was asked to participate with its caviar on May 23. The event consisted of a champagne test managed by a local sommelier. To that were served a number of small dishes, and the sommelier introduced some five different champagne brands.
However, the introduction to the whole event was a test of the local AROS black caviar produced in the province. AROS's Managing Director had brought in trial samples from last year's caviar harvest. The caviar was served together with the champagne. The local restaurant could receive some 27 of the regular customers, but the number of applicants to participate exceeded available seats by a number of times.
AROS's Managing Director was given some 25 minutes to present the company's history, production chain and targets. Slides and film sequences were demonstrated. Afterwards, a Q-A session was held and the audience seemed to enjoy the locally produced caviar.
